History

Intel was founded in 1968 by Gordon Moore, Robert Noyce, and Arthur Rock. The company is known for its x86 architecture, which was developed in the 1980s. 

Logo

The original Intel logo was designed by Robert Noyce and Gordon Moore. It featured a blue insignia with a sans-serif font, and the letter "e" was positioned lower than the "t" and "l". 

Manufacturing

Intel has ten manufacturing sites, six of which are wafer fabrication facilities and four of which are assembly/test facilities.
